    Vacation Bible School will be July 26-29th (Mon-Thurs) from 6:45 to 9:00 p.m. (note the earlier time). Signup sheets are in the back of church. We will be collecting food for the Ministerial Alliance.  They are in need of canned and boxed food, mainly canned fruit and boxed pasta meals. Dress up days will be as follows: Monday: Cool Hat & Shades Day; Tuesday: Pajama Day; Wednesday: Funny Hair Day; Thursday: Group Color Day.      There will be a Mother's Society Meeting in the hall on Sunday July 25, 6:30 p.m. Please mark your calendars and plan to attend.

     The Religious Education Program is in need of several teachers this fall for Kindergarten, 5th &7th grades. If you are interested in teaching and gaining wonderful experiences with this exciting program, please call Anita Collier 965-8012 or 806-3723.

     The Seifert family invites everyone to honor Mrs. Isabel Seifert at the 90th birthday celebration on Sunday, July 25th from 11:00a.m. to 1:00p.m. at the Sacred Heart Parish Hall. Gifts are not requested.

     The Region 10 (Arkansas, Oklahoma & Texas ) Youth Conference will be held in Little Rock, November 12 - 14. We need to submit an estimated number of participants from our parish within the next few weeks so that hotel rooms can be reserved. Youth that will be in 9th–12th grade, if you think you might like to attend, please contact Veronica Frederick or Dee Verkamp, ASAP.  Although this will be football season, we can make arrangements to take those involved in football, later if necessary. We will be having fund raisers, to help pay for expenses and there is scholarship funds available, so please donÕt let the cost discourage anyone from going.

    POST-ABORTION SUPPORT GROUP: Do you feel alone, hurting or unforgiven from a past abortion? The Respect Life Office, through Project Rachel, is starting a support group, beginning the third week in September. The spiritual journey lasts 11 weeks, with small groups of 6-8. Groups will be formed in Little Rock, Fayetteville and Hot Springs. All names and meeting places are strictly confidential. Call 501-664-0340, ext. 357. All inquiries must be made by Sept. 20th.

    The annual Respect Life Conference will take place at St. John Diocesan Center on August 13 & 14 beginning at 5:00p.m. Registration fee is $30 and is requested by August 6.     RELICS OF MOTHER TERESA ON DISPLAY – Relics of Mother Teresa will be on display at the Cathedral of St. Andrew on Wednesday, July 28th. The relics will include her rosary, crucifix, her very worn sandals, and a reliquary containing some of her blood. The tour of the relics through Eastern and Midwestern United States was organized by Mother TeresaÕs order, the Missionaries of Charity, in honor of her 100th anniversary of her birth. Little Rock will be the last stop of the tour before the relics return to Calcutta. Reconciliation will be offered from 4:30 to 5:15p.m. The relics will be available for view from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. in the Cathedral. Mass will be celebrated by Bishop Anthony B. Taylor at 6:30p.m. The relics will also be available for viewing for a short time after Mass.

     Tuesday seniors, retirees and friends invited to meet in the hall for fellowship, playing cards, etc.
